Privacy policy
Your business records stay on your phone. This page explains the few times anything leaves it.
Effective date: 07 Oct 2026
Who we are
ZimBiz OS is published by Eden Axis. Questions about privacy: edenaxis1@gmail.com.
What the app records
ZimBiz OS records the business information you enter: products, sales, customers and their phone numbers, debts, expenses, suppliers and the names of staff who use the app. Only enter what you need to run your business.
Where it is kept
Your records and photos are stored privately on your Android phone. The app has no accounts and no cloud database, and it does not collect analytics, show adverts or sell data.
Backups are encrypted with a passphrase you choose. If you turn on automatic backups to Google Drive or another cloud app, that app stores the encrypted file under its own privacy policy. Nobody can open the backup without your passphrase, and we cannot recover a forgotten one.
Exports you create (CSV, Excel, PDF) are not encrypted. Anyone you send them to can keep or forward them.
What is shared, and when
- Paying with EcoCash or OneMoney (app from this website): your business name, the chosen plan and the paying mobile number are sent to our licence server and to Paynow to process the payment. No other records are sent.
- Paying through Google Play: Google handles the payment under its own policy. The app only checks with Google Play on the phone whether a subscription is active.
- WhatsApp and sharing: receipts, statements and reminders open in WhatsApp or another app you choose, and you send each one yourself.
- Camera, Bluetooth: the camera is used only to scan barcodes; Bluetooth only to print to a printer you paired. The app does not use your location.
This website
This website does not use cookies, trackers or analytics. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Your choices
Your records stay on your phone until you delete them or uninstall the app. Uninstalling does not delete backups or exports you saved elsewhere. Your customers can ask your business to see or correct their details. Keep financial records for as long as the law requires.
