Install

  1. Tap Download on your phone. Your browser saves the file zimbiz-os.apk.
  2. Open the file from the download notification, or from the Files app → Downloads.
  3. Android may say it cannot install apps from this source. Tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source for your browser, then go back.
  4. Tap Install. Google Play Protect may warn that it does not know the app, because it was not installed from the Play Store. Tap More details → Install anyway.
  5. Open ZimBiz OS. Try the demo shop, or set up your own business.

Only download ZimBiz OS from this website or from Google Play. A copy from someone else could have been changed.

Updates

When a new version is published here, download and install it the same way. It installs over the old one and keeps all your records. Make a backup first if you can (More → Backups).

To confirm the file is exactly the one published here, compare its SHA-256 fingerprint with the one above. On a Windows computer, in PowerShell:

Google Play

ZimBiz OS is also coming to Google Play, paid through Google Play instead of EcoCash or OneMoney.

The two are installed as separate apps. To move from one to the other, make an encrypted backup in the old one and restore it in the new one.
